REMIX NOTES:
Teen Daze is the masked knight of chillwave. In just under six months, the secretive sidechainer surfed out of obscurity and polished up a personal style you can identify almost immediately — even if it’s a remix of someone else’s jam. GBL + TD toured extensively together this summer in both the United States and Canada, and to celebrate our beach party we had planned to release this little EP of mutual remixes over the summer (click the cover art above to download).  Somewhere along the road from SF to LA, we forgot to post it. Three months later, we’re still on the road and Teen Daze has just wrapped up a tour of Canada. But now seems like the perfect time — TD and GBL just reconnected at CMJ courtesy of Stadiums and Shrines — and it’s was just Hallowe’en — this remix is a bit evil. To borrow a term coined by Shaun Durkan of Weekend + Grem, one might even call it… chillgrave.

Teen Daze has an LP on Arcade Sound Ltd, new bloggo traxxx dropping all the time,  and he’s gonna be touring the US again in December with Millionyoung. Don’t miss the boy.
